This handbook for writing proposals is easy to use, concise, and thorough. It has templates and goes through all the steps very thoroughly, but is also pretty quick to read. This really feels like someone has taken a good look at what he has done to successfully get funding in the past, and then makes it accessible to someone like me. I have always used the general idea and preferred formatting of my boss, but wanted an idea of how other people write proposals in an attempt to raise my success rate. The template and workflow method he gives is explained in detail, and is broken down into the phases that you should go through in order to develop a proposal. This results in something coherent and cohesive. For anyone who has to write proposals, this is a must have!Product details

I liked this book a lot it’s practical and straightforward. The author doesn’t beat around the bush too much and goes straight to the point. About the templates there are indeed several other ones online, but having a template and a side explanation together, however, is very useful. The additional tips and techniques are an added value.
I am so happy to have come across this book - a great source, even (or especially) for beginners who have no prior knowledge of writing proposals. Easy to read, clear and practical and guides you step-by-step from A to Z through the proposal writing process. I now feel confident to start writing a proposal of my own!
Absolutely loved this book! Usually stuff like this is hidden away in some obscure academic text. In this case, Binda Zane keeps it light and easy to read, while still perfectly making his point. My guess is that the author really likes some aspects of proposal writing and you can read it between the lines – take his rapid writing technique description, for example.

Very useful content, well written and researched. You can see that this is all based on experience and it’s not a collection of stuff found here and there.
